Overview

WebBrain is an MIT‑licensed AI browser agent for Chrome and Firefox that reads pages, extracts structured data, and automates multi-step tasks through Ask and Act modes.[6] It can run fully locally with llama.cpp or Ollama for privacy, or connect to any cloud API for more powerful models.[6] Developers and power users should care because it offers a programmable agent layer directly inside the browser, ideal for scraping, form automation, and workflow prototyping.
