Sakana Chat with Fugu and New Namazu

On August 13, 2026 Sakana AI rolled out a major update to Sakana Chat, adding its Sakana Fugu orchestrator model, a new-generation Japanese-specialized Namazu model, Python code execution in a sandbox and support for image and document attachments.[31][32][34][41][43] The update enables vibe coding—creating games and apps from text descriptions—automatic charting and report generation from attached Excel files, and previewing HTML, Word and slide artifacts.[34][37][38] The service is free and accessible without login for Namazu, while choosing Fugu requires email registration but no payment, explicitly targeting Japanese-language users including children and business settings.[33][34][39][42]
