Overview

The Aug 15–16 update to Kimi Work (3.1.9) introduced a dedicated ‘Personal Plugins’ section in its plugin marketplace, enabling users to browse and install plugins from individual developers.[2] These plugins turn Kimi into a task‑specific agent—for example, workflow runners, research assistants, and custom automations—integrated directly in the desktop client.[2][15] The model switcher allows users to pair these plugins with Kimi K3 or K3 Swarm, leveraging very long‑context, multimodal reasoning for complex jobs.[12]
