Overview

AgentOS is a free, open-source tool that builds a loop around AI coding assistants: it discovers patterns from past work, injects relevant standards into conversations, helps shape specs, and keeps those standards updated as projects evolve.[12] It is designed to complement tools like Claude Code and other AI coding agents, providing a structured way to enforce architecture and style across AI-influenced changes.[12] Devs should care because it reduces inconsistency and "AI drift" in large codebases by aligning assistants with team practices.
